He was never supposed to leave Earth.

AstroDog started as the unofficial mascot of a tiny night-shift launch crew. He slept under the console, stole freeze-dried chicken from open backpacks, and somehow learned that every countdown ended with people cheering.

One morning, somebody left a training suit unzipped. AstroDog climbed in. Nobody is willing to admit who pressed the wrong button after that.

By the time the team noticed, the capsule was already above the clouds. The official report called it a “procedural anomaly.” The group chat called it the greatest launch in company history.

Now he drifts from block to block across Solana, broadcasting one message back to Earth: stay curious, stay stubborn, and never underestimate a dog with access to launch controls.
